In Matthew 28:19 Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations. Discipleship was always meant to be a major emphasis of the church. But is the church today making disciples the way Jesus and the early church did? In today's episode, I share some thoughts on how we can move forward in returning the church to a more Biblical understanding of discipleship. One way we can do that is to make knowing God (who He is, what He is like, what He has done, etc.) and knowing who we are in Christ central to our discipleship. Join me as I share on why this is so crucial, what happens when we fail to emphasize this, and some practical tips on how we can pursue this in our communities.
