I believe all Christians need a measure of inner healing (freedom from pain in our past) in our lives as a part of our sanctification process. One thing that grieves my heart is the stigma and shame many Christians carry around about needing/getting counseling, therapy, inner healing, coaching, etc. Why is there such a stigma around these valuable tools? I believe this stigma causes people to sit in their sin and shame longer than necessary, instead of finding the freedom we are promised in Christ. The devil keeps us bound in shame and hiddenness, God wants us to come to the light and get freedom and wholeness in Him. I love having discussions like the one I am sharing today with Hee Jung, because it helps us realize that we are ALL a work in progress. There are tools available for us to access to find healing and be thriving in our walk with God. Hee Jung and her husband have been mentors to me since I was 18! Please tune into our conversation today!
