First impressions count – third time lucky? Join professional writer/editor and amateur impressionist Peter Humphreys for another surreal slice of literary cheesecake. Episode Three is all about time (about time!) and contains an appearance from ‘Big Al’ (AKA playwright Alan Bennett) who has been roped into promoting Lancaster’s premier supplier of digital watches. There are also snippets of conversation with Peter’s wife Anita, during which the couple discuss their lengthy separation due to Covid/visa issues. Readings include Julio Cortazar’s ‘Instructions on How to Wind a Watch’; Peter’s poems ‘The Time is Gone’ and ‘Civil Obedience’, and an extract from his third novel, ‘Oblivious’.
