I am on the couch with Sonny Etienne, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Addiction Professional, and a National Certified Counselor. A graduate of Florida Memorial University, he studied Religion and Philosophy and Counseling Psychology at Trinity International University. Mr. Sonny is the founder of Introspective Counseling Services, a private practice based in South Florida. In his role as a psychotherapist and author, Mr. Sonny combines counseling theories and creative interventions to help people achieve greater life satisfaction. In addition to counseling, coaching, and consulting, he is a frequent guest on local and national broadcasting programs. Mr. Sonny addresses identity, purpose, and finding meaning that affects today’s teens and young adults, couples, and families. During this interview we discuss his book, including his personal story of experiencing divorce as an eight-year-old boy.
