The problems we face are simply opportunities to make something better. This is the mindset of the entrepreneur. This is the mindset required to create something out of nothing. This is the mindset possessed by Lauren Nelson. Only a few months ago, Lauren noticed that there should be a better way to align willing volunteers and donors with organizations in need of their support. So, she did something about it. She saw the opportunity from the problem and created something better. The product of her imagination and hard work is Roar Philanthropy—a Milwaukee-based organization on a mission to make volunteering an easy, accessible, diverse and enjoyable experience while providing Metro-Milwaukee nonprofits and organizations with respectful, optimistic, accepting and reliable volunteers and donors. The idea may have came to her in a flash, but, as you'll learn, Lauren's life had been steadily building to this moment.
