Description

This week you're stuck with just us! We explore the concept of matrescence, what this means to us and what our experience was of becoming mothers.

Matrescence, similar to adolescence, describes a period of great change when a woman becomes a mother. These changes include physical, emotional, hormonal and psychological shifts which most women experience after having a baby.

Both Emma and Hannah share how they felt in those early days of motherhood, and discuss the different challenges, pressures and expectations put on mothers during such a vulnerable time.

This is an honest and open chat (with lots of lols of course!) which we hope will be relatable to all parents listening.

This podcast is for parents, soon to be parents, wanting to be parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, cats, dogs and anyone else who cares to listen.

We don't know what we're doing but let's work it out together - come and join our village!
