In Nehemiah 2, we see a moment of profound breakthrough. After months of prayer, Nehemiah is given the chance to speak before King Artaxerxes—and what unfolds is both a picture of dependent prayer and courageous action.

In this message, we unpack what it means to live tethered to God through prayer and to step out boldly when He calls us to act. Nehemiah shows us that courage does not mean the absence of fear, but rather pressing forward in faith despite it. His respectful, bold, and prepared requests before the king reveal how God works through ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things when His gracious hand is upon them.
