Description

On today’s episode, I’m sitting down with Irish electronic pop artist and COVID 19 doctor. Born in County Mayo, this week’s guest has always had a deep love for music. Beginning with classical piano, he quickly developed an interest in rock and reached for the guitar and drums as soon as he could. Leaving school he decided to park his musical ambitions and started studying medicine. During his time at university, he rediscovered his talent and became the keyboard player for the popular group ‘Rofi James’ - a move that would ultimately kickstart his future solo venture, Stepping on Lego. Sharing how he balances gigging with hospital shifts and how it’s been writing music whilst being on the frontline of a global pandemic, here’s what it’s like to be Conor Waters.
