On today’s episode, I’m chatting to co-founder of Phizz, the 2-in-1 multivitamin hydration tablet. Moving around a lot as a child, this week’s guest always knew travel would be ingrained in his future one way or another. Originally from Australia, it was continuous long haul flying that would eventually spark the brainwave behind his company, which he founded with two other friends. Sick of having to combine energy tablets with rehydration products to combat the knock out effect of almost 24 hours in the air, the trio saw a gap in the effervescent market and jumped at it. No science background between them, they enlisted the help of their Oxford-grad friend and the rest is a short four year history. Attracting the likes of Emirates, Liverpool and even the Grammy’s goody bags, it’s safe to say they’ve got off to a flying start. Becoming the number one seller on Amazon in their field and the first effervescent tablet to appear on an airline, it’s only the beginning for this young brand.
