On today’s episode, I’m chatting to founder of AquaMobile and MarketBox, two companies tackling challenges within global mobile workforces. Starting her first business at just 19, the Toronto native struggles to remember a time when she wasn’t concocting new ideas and ways to solve problems in the consumer market. Juggling an online swimming lesson service with a college course, she quickly realised just how much of a spark she had for entrepreneurship and has never looked back since. Laying the foundations for AquaMobile whilst completing her MBA, she has managed to expand her service worldwide - even securing a deal with the Canadian version of Dragons' Den that she didn’t end up needing to sign onto. Operating the online swim school off of a unique SAAS software she had built in - house, she noticed the bigger opportunity was in the technology and so, her latest venture, MarketBox, was born. Chatting to me from lockdown in South America, here’s what it’s like to be Diana Goodwin.
