On today’s episode, you’ll be hearing from a Dutch DJ, producer and songwriter. Growing up, music ran in the family. Starting on more classical instruments such as the piano and guitar, this week’s guest slowly began experimenting with different genres until he became captivated by the world of electronic music. Playing around with sounds, he was heavily inspired by melodic house music and he wasn’t the only one that liked what they heard when they listened to his mixes. Being recognised by the likes of Tiesto and Martin Garrix, it wasn’t long before this rising artist was picked up and signed to the label, STMPD - on the very same day as his graduation from the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Ahead of the upcoming release of his latest track, “U Got Me”, we chat life as a young DJ, inspiration, the impact of the pandemic on musicians and his next move.
