Description

On today’s episode, I’m chatting to founder of Impact School, a platform helping businesses make a global impact by scaling online. From a young age, this ambitious Forbes top ten entrepreneur envisioned a life of success. At 18 she left school and went straight into the corporate world of asset management where she thought she’d climb her way up the ladder but quickly realised this wouldn’t be the path for her. Miserable in her job, she turned to her other love for an escape - fitness - and built up an online platform to share her journey. With a community big enough to leave her job for, she began living life as an influencer and it wasn’t until she was dropped from the Gymshark athlete programme that everything changed. Noticing a need for help when it came to scaling online businesses, she set to work devising a method that would eventually land her on the Forbes list and take her to Dubai where she lives now. Chatting to me about how it started, the pressures of being a young CEO and what it really means to be successful, here’s what it’s like to be Lauren Tickner.
