Description

On today’s episode, I’m sitting down with television presenter, creator and voice of the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony. Reminiscing on the fact that her earliest ambitions were to become a dancer, this week’s guest has always had an interest in the world of entertainment. Getting a taste of the industry through appearances in various music videos and dance gigs as a child, she stumbled upon presenting as a way to make ends meet and feel in love. Finding her break through voicing the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, her interest in sports presenting grew and with the exposure came new, well-deserved opportunities in that area. Chatting to me about the highs and lows of her career journey, her experiences with sexism in a male dominated industry and her recipe for success, here’s what it’s like to be Layla Anna-Lee.
