On today’s episode, I’m chatting with professional rugby league player for Huddersfield Giants. Growing up, he wasn’t always a sports enthusiast. It wasn’t until a school teacher had them playing rugby on their lunch breaks that he discovered his love for the game. Taking things to the next level, it was during a period of time off whilst waiting for a club transfer that he came across rugby league and before he knew it he was representing Ireland at under 17 level. Becoming the first Irish player to sign to the league in the UK since Brian Carney ten years ago and fresh from his super league debut with Huddersfield, here’s what it’s like to be Ronan Michael.
