Description

Welcome to OUT LOUD LIVE! A live podcast recording of a queer storytelling event hosted by City of Sydney Councillor Adam Worling in collaboration with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. The concept is simple: queer activists, creatives, taste- and troublemakers from across the LGBTIQA+ communities are invited to share their stories. This podcast was recorded live at the 2025 iteration of OUT LOUD, where speakers were asked to respond to the theme: FREE TO BE.

In this episode we hear from Liza-Mare Syron (she/they). With family ties to the Birripay and Worrimay people from the Mid North Coast of NSW, Liza-Mare is a theatre maker and academic, and a founding member of Moogahlin Performing Arts.
