Description

The Chiodo brothers — Stephen, Edward and Charles — were well known special effects artists in Hollywood focusing in clay models, creature creation and stop motion animatronics. In 1988, they decided to crossover from creating special effects to creating their own movie. The original concept came from Stephen Chiodo who imagined the most terrifying image he could muster and that involved driving down a lonely mountain road and a car would pass by with a clown staring back at him.

From that simple idea spawned the movie “Killer Klowns from Outer Space,” a PG-13 horror sci-fi spoof where a group of aliens arrive on Earth from unknown origins and begin harvesting humans as a source of food.

In the latest episode of Rewind of the Living Dead, we’re going to break out the cotton candy and prepare our popcorn guns as we talk about the 1988 movie “Killer Klowns from Outer Space”…
