There was a lot to like about the horror industry in 2021, especially with a return to theaters and the chance to share some of these moments with an audience again. From the return of the “Candyman” franchise through director Nia DaCosta to the inventive release schedule surrounding the “Fear Street” trilogy on Netflix, there was no shortage of new as well as recognizable titles that were released throughout the year.
