Our silly story for kids continues in episode 17. Sir Marbles returns to Princess Poppy's castle and asks the king for advice on what to do with the Sceptre of Abugo Shemanu. The king suggests that the most secure place for the sceptre would be in the city of Abugo Shemanu itself. The location of the city is a secret, but Laszlo and Old Macca find a clue while gazing at the stars, leading them to a location in the Atlantic Ocean. The royal engineer Sophia Pandelis has created a hi-tech submarine that the comrades tow to the port and haul onto Old Betty. They sail to the location and descend in the submarine to the bottom of the ocean where they find the ancient city of Abugo Shemanu. Here, they meet the guardian of the city, Bartholomew Struff. He agrees to escort them to a vault where they can lock the sceptre.
