Daniel Cérézuelle has studied philosophy and social science. As a philosopher he has taught the philosophy of technology in France and the USA and since 1991 has served on the board of the Society for the Philosophy of Technology. As a sociologist he is investigating the social importance of the non-monetary economy in modern society. He is currently the scientific director of the Self-production and Social Development Program (PADES). He is the author of For another social development (1996), Nature and Freedom, an introduction to the thought of Bernard Charbonneau (2022), Technique and the Flesh (2011), and other works.
