Aloha to everyone tuning in to the Live Surf Love Podcast, and listening to my wifey and I talking about surfing and our amazing weekend. It was incredible surf sesh at Doheny State Beach, waves were rolling in perfectly and was perfect for hanging Ten and trimming on the waves!
The ocean in Doho was super warm at 78° was perfect for bareback out there surfing. It felt like a pool and the waves were long and enjoyed the ride. The only issue was that the lineup was super packed and tons of people and mixture of kids learning adult learners, beginners, intermediate and expert longboard surfers. Which creates a problem trying to do things on a wave but on the positive side of things everyone is very friendly out there! If you go to Doheny just know every wave is a party wave unless you get very lucky!
