This video is about longboard surfing in Topanga where we didn’t surf due to bad waves and low tides. If you ever been to Topanga or Malibu you will know what I’m talking about. There’s rocks and boulders underneath the waves at these spots that can first of all damage your board, and secondly hurt yourself really bad. My wifey could tell you her board hit one of these boulders and gave her a black eye when she fell and hit her board. They’re great spots to surf when the tide is a bit higher and not windy. The cliff protects these spots, but also it was very windy that it wasn’t very protected. It was choppy and unclean waves. One other thing the fires that happened there the water is very dirty and still can smell the smoke and see ashes in the sand. If you do surf at these spots keep that in mind!
Later that day my wifey friend and her husband celebrating his birthday with our other friends Mae and Kris at this Korean Restaurant called Urban Poncha in Pasadena California. It was all of our first time going there and it was delicious! If you’re ever in Pasadena you need to check this place out to eat and chill. It has a pool table a full bar and awesome music as well. It’s also opened until 1:30am.
Dinner was fantastic with our friends later we went to a speakeasy right around the corner with our friends. It was my wifey and I first time going to a speakeasy and our friends that we went with they have been before and filmed me knocking on the door telling the guy the password. It was funny cause at dinner we were talking about Italian food and the password was about Italian food. If you do go to a speakeasy make sure you’re 21+ and it was really cool. The entry looked like we were going into a kitchen at a restaurant and then all the sudden the guy opened up a door and it was an awesome bar. The vibes were awesome and just incredible experience to end the weekend!
