Sat by the shore on pebbled sand,
Watching the whale, majestic and grand,
Breaching the waves with a flip and a stand.
As the sun dipped low, painting the sea,
They laughed and joked, just carefree,
The whale, the joker, a sight to see,
In the twilight glow, just them and the sea.
