05/31/2020 | Our church met outside for a Sunday Morning Drive-In Service amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic for Pentecost Sunday 2020. It was an exciting day together! Pastor Jeff shared timely words for our church and for our world, especially in the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd. Pastor Jeff compared The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9) and Pentecost (Acts 2:1-8), and spoke about how:
1) The Church Must Have An Atmosphere Where God Can Move (2 Chronicles 5:11; Acts 2:1)
2) The Church Must Draw the Attention of People Who Are Outside the Church (Acts 2:6)
3) The Church Must Open Their Doors To Everybody (Acts 2:6).
He also shared powerful words by Martin Luther King, Jr., and challenged us to be a people to live by the Spirit. In the words of Pastor Jeff, "That which unites us [Jesus] must be greater than that which divides us."
