Description

Every April Is AUTISM ACCEPTANCE MONTH.

World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.

1 in 54 children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Yet, this diagnosis remains as misunderstood as ever. We simply do not live in a society that is accommodating or even accepting of those who are not “neurotypical.”

Fortunately, parents of autistic children are wonderful at communicating who their children are and why.

Joining me on the show today is Tasha Griffin. She will be sharing her journey from a parents perspective. Her son Taylen Blue is on the spectrum.
