As Christmas draws near, the Advent story widens beyond homes and hearts and into the movement of history itself. In today’s episode, we see how a Roman emperor’s decree unknowingly serves God’s eternal plan, guiding Mary and Joseph exactly where prophecy said the Savior would be born.
This message reminds us that God is never threatened by earthly power, never confused by circumstances, and never late with His promises. Even when obedience is inconvenient and the road is difficult, God is moving heaven and earth to bring salvation into the world.
