On today's episode of 'Newsmakers' host Louie Butko is joined by Hamilton Ward 8 Councillor to discuss a number of pressing issues in the city, including the province's recent decisions to reverse the Greenbelt and Urban Boundary changes, the upcoming budget process, and much more.
Councillor Danko is now in his second term as councilor representing his constituents in west Hamilton mountain having first been elected in 2018. A graduate of McMaster University with a degree in civil engineering and is a licensed professional engineer with more than 20 years experience in the private sector.
At council -- he currently sits on four standing committees including as vice chair of public works. Away from council -- he also is a commercial photographer and writer -- and calls Ward 8 home with his wife Dawn, two children and three cats.
