A born and raised Hamiltonian -- Paikin began his career at TVO in 1992. A graduate of the University of Toronto with a Masters Degree in Journalism from Boston university -- he's also written eight books, produced a number of feature length documentaries, and served as moderator in federal and provincial leadership debates.
But right now, he's joining his colleague's on the picket lines -- a strike that has now gone into it's third month.
