In 2012, Terry was diagnosed with a rare form of melanoma on the sole of his foot. Following several different therapies as well as multiple amputations, Terry is living with his cancer and has a prosthetic leg and is learning to walk again. As well as his motivational speaking, Terry has also written a book and is choosing to inspire others to lead a life of purpose.
