Description

Greg Pollard is currently a Physical Education & Humanities Teacher who is currently in his 17th year in the profession. On Part two of the conversation, Greg and I discuss teaching students in lower streams not to think they’re ’stupid,’ almost moving to another province, channeling his inner nerd, how presenting is not quite the gulag but is definitely still tiring, not placing your own academic expectations on your struggling students, how I have unwittingly emulated my HS Social Studies Teacher in more ways than one, the contradiction of changing your demeanour once you decide to pursue a VP path, how it is not a flex to spend all of your time at your school, the demand of coaching Varsity Athletics, learning to be yourself, and, much more. Thank you all for tuning in and hope you enjoy the show!
