Scott Barr is currently is the Director of Human Resources & Administration with the Fort McMurray Public School District and is currently in his 27th year in the profession. On part two of our conversation Scott and I discuss standardized testing, how society undervalues teachers, how everyone thinks they can be a teacher through their ‘institutional biography,’ ways to make Education more competitive in the age of the teacher shortage, the amount of time teachers put in and what the tipping point is, ‘quiet quitting,’ my own personal run-in as Scott was my own Principal in Junior High, how teaching has changed throughout his career, and, much more. Thank you all for tuning in and hope you enjoyed the show!
