Chapter 32 Summary
Bravo arrives at the airport tense and alert, still smarting from the rope burn Larry caused. He buys a bandana to cover the wound, a T-shirt, and changes in a restroom stall, then discards his soiled shirt. While cleaning up, he considers how easily he and Larry can be replaced by those who hired them and decides not to share Larry's fate.
At the ticket counter, he buys a seat on a mid-afternoon United flight to St. Louis using the fake identity he’s been carrying. During a quick meal, he checks the burner phone and confirms the e-transfer payment has arrived. The money gives him a brief moment of relief, but he knows better than to become complacent; using the same alias for too long is a risky move. He starts thinking about changing identities again before heading to his flight, determined to stay one step ahead of whoever orchestrated this job.
