In 2017 Patricia began the “Losing Doesn’t Mean Lost” platform when she lost her husband and became a widow. That is when she started advocating for other widows and grieving children. She partners with nonprofits in Alaska such as Victims for Justice and Judi’s House in Colorado, that help bring awareness on grief and provide safe and effective resources.
Patricia wrote and published a children’s book called “I Can See You From the Stars” to help children like her own navigate through grief. She founded and hosts a Podcast called “The Widow Warrior” that shares her personal journey of grief and helps empower other widows like herself.
