I am joined by my sister Leanne and her husband David, who are teachers in Scotland, as well as frequent collaborator Craig.
Leanne and David have had to navigate the complications COVID has had on education, not least the debacle of the exam results whereby students had grades predicted by teachers, only to see many overturned by the qualification authority's algorithm which seemingly had a sole purpose of making results look commensurate with previous years, as opposed to grading kids on their merit. We discuss what happened, the fallout, what has been done to rectify the situation and what the future holds for the system and the pupils within it.
