In this episode I sit down with Sue, who's a long-time e-mail penpal friend I met while travelling. She's so kind to talk to me about her perspective on and experience as a mixed person in the UK as we touch on layers of prejudice and racism mixed people have to navigate living inbetween and across labels that they are given without their permission. We explore how there's a lot more nuance to how privilege is experienced than we often take the time to examine (especially on social media) and take a closer look at the concepts of diversity and inclusion with a big critical question mark. And as usually I ask a lot of clumsy questions while Sue gets some text messages inbetween wisdoms and educations.
