Description

This week, Grant and Dave are joined by Longside FC manager Nicol Davidson. We discuss how the village club have adapted to life coming up from the Championship as well as mixing it up against the top sides.

Across the weekend, Bridge of Don Thistle laid down a huge marker in their quest for the title. Grant was there to watch a sparkling performance from Jamie Watt's side over Dyce. Meanwhile, there were strong home wins for Stonehaven and Hermes while champions Culter could only draw at Colony Park. Elsewhere, Longside kicked off the weekend with a win on Friday night. Nicol discusses his side's win over Banks O Dee. We also tackle victories for Rothie Rovers, Buchanhaven Hearts and Maud.

In the Championship, Fraserburgh United, Newmachar United and Hall Russell United all recorded varying margins of victories while the game of the day saw a six goal thriller shared between Forres Thistle and Banchory St Ternan.

As usual, we have our medallists of the week and our thoughts on next week's games.

Plus, references to Taylor Swift, Johnstone Burgh and the Stadio Olympico (or is it Stadio Baltico).
