I had the pleasure of hosting a long time friend Marianne Haynes, we grow up together and only after talking about the initial success of this podcast we realised she could add so much value from a completely different position and perspective.
Marianne is a professional Violinist and string arranger, key aspects of being a violinist, other than the actual playing, are to work closely & intensely with other musicians and featured artists. Being able to go from a position of leadership & management to then blending in and adapting quickly to different environments.
She has led the orchestra in West End for Top Hat, White Christmas, Sinatra on Stage, Caroline or Change & Motown the musical as well as Co-Lead Heritage Orchestra.
That is not all she has led orchestras & sessions for:
Mark Ronson, Gary Barlow, Jamie Cullum, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Tom Grennan, Daps in the Map, Labrinth, Tiny Tempah, Becky Hill, Clean Bandit, Cold War Kids, The Courteeners, The Killers amongst others. Leader of string quartet and frequent extra work in BBC orchestras.
Marianne is currently setting up own group which she will manage.
