This 18 acer island in Italy around 3 miles from Venice is famously know for being used to quarantine people infected with the black plague. Its said that 50% of the islands dirt is actually ash from the people who died and burned on the island. 160K people are said to meet their fate on this island. Dating back to the 1300s people have spoke about it being a haunted island.
