Welcome back to The Duke Teynor podcast where we dive deep into the art, chaos, and obsession behind music videos that push boundaries. I'm your host, and today we're cracking open a cold one... literally.
We're talking about "Kaltes Feuer" — the secondinstallment in Duke Teynor's Maschinenherz album series. A cyberpunktechno war anthem where beer becomes ammunition, robots become warriors, and142 BPM becomes a pulse you can't escape.
Produced, directed, and composed by Duke Teynor himself under DukeTeynor Records™, this wasn't just a music video. It was a labor-intensive,frame-by-frame obsession that took months to build.
Let's go underground.
[ACT 1: THE CONCEPT
So... what do you get when you combine German industrial beer culture, cyberpunk dystopia, and 142 BPM techno warfare?
You get Kaltes Feuer — which translates to "Cold Fire."
The premise is wild but strangely poetic: In a hidden cyberpunk village, robots don't run on oil or electricity. They run on Kaltes Feuer — aglowing neon-blue beer brewed deep underground in cryo-forges. It's their fuel.Their lifeblood. Their soul.
But when neon drones attack the village, the brewery transforms into afortress. One keg. One beat. One war.
Duke Teynor didn't just want to make a music video. He wanted to build a world. And that world had rules:
