In this episode we discuss the first prime-time 'live-action' version of Spiderman to hit screens. The series 'The Amazing Spider-Man', starring Nicholas Hammond, debuted in 1977, and ran off and on until 1979. Although only 13 episodes were produced, it still holds a place in our hearts as the first time we, as kids, saw a live version of Spider-Man. We discuss all the Pros and Cons associated with this show.
We also discuss the weird Japanese version of Spiderman which debuted in 1978. Loosely based (VERY loosely) on the Marvel Comics hero.
