Seema and Dinesh welcome guest Neelu Kaur on this episode where they have a conversation around what real leadership looks like, how to show up more authentically in the workplace, imposter syndrome and more. Neelu shares insights from her book “Be Your Own Cheerleader” and they have a conversation about how to create a more effective team and how it starts by looking inward. They talk about the importance of feeling safe at work and how you can evaluate your workplace to feel comfortable showing up more authentically. They’ll talk about the value in celebrating all wins, big or small, and how traditions growing up shape current lenses. 

Neelu Kaur holds a BS from NYU’s Stern School of Business, an MA in Social & Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and is a certified NLP Master Practitioner and Coach from the NLP Center of New York. She has 15 years of experience specializing in Adult Learning & Leadership Development in Financial Services, Consulting, and the Tech Industry. She is a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and executive coach focusing on leadership, self-advocacy, and burnout management for individuals, teams, and organizations. Neelu recently published her first book, ‘Be Your Own Cheerleader,’ which focuses on self-advocacy for Asian & South Asian Womyn.
