Dereck, has taken the fight that was given to him and created a platform to help others in his situation. Dereck describes how hard he has had to work just to be a part of his sons life. The pain and hurt that has come with not seeing his child, has pushed Dereck to create Hug-A-Dad.com/ foundation, and he has become a full time activist for fathers rights.
