This week, Gabe & Stephen take a look at one of California’s more prolific and widely-known breweries, Lagunitas Brewing! Originally founded in 1993, Lagunitas grew from a small (and misguided) home-brewing adventure in Tony Magee’s kitchen to a large-scale operation with a presence in at least 20 countries. While their beers can be found almost anywhere, the boys were excited to sample some of their more obscure offerings and explore the range of what Lagunitas has to offer.
Featured beers: Lucky 13 “Ultra-Mega-Mondo Red Ale,” Super Cluster Citra Imperial IPA and Phase Change Wet-hopped Juicy Ale. Plus: Why Connecticut is better than Utah, and “Brewmonster” Jeremy Marshall entertains us with his quirky beer reviews.
