About Tero Isokauppila:
Tero Isokauppila is the Finnish-born founder of Four Sigmatic, the original mushroom-coffee brand. Raised on his family’s farm (in the family since at least 1619), he grew up foraging mushrooms and berries, later studying chemistry and nutrition and coaching pro athletes, where adaptogenic fungi became a secret edge. After living in eight countries, he launched Four Sigmatic in 2012; today the company’s functional coffees and proteins lead the category across major U.S. retailers. A bestselling author on mushrooms and a frequent long-form educator, Tero now splits time between Texas and summers on the family farm in Finland with his wife and three children—advocating for simple, nature-rooted health, and a grounded spiritual life.
