Description

Join Magnolia, Spark Plugs, and Jack on their journey from Ohio to Arizona to sell Magnolia's car. We wondered when the right time is to tell someone you have a crush on them, or if you even should. We talked a lot about anxiety, and then we laid out our feelings about International Tell Your Crush Day. Spark Plugs said something nice about Magnolia, who didn't know how to respond. Jack drove. We had to fake the karaoke section by playing a song off a phone, because Critter doesn't have a radio.

We spent a whole section talking about someone Magnolia knows who we thought said you should NEVER tell someone you have a crush on them. Some time later, Magnolia ran into that person again and asked about it and it turned out they didn't say that at all. Maybe some day we'll have them on the show to set the record straight.

This episode was hardly automotive-themed, but we made up for it in the next one.

Send us your listener questions about cars and/or relationships and we'll answer them on the show! Get in touch with us at keepingitontheroad@tutanota.com. We're now on Spotify and Stitcher too.

Our theme song is "Rattle" by Vic Chesnutt. Other music: "Greenville," "Passionate Kisses," and "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road," all by Lucinda Williams.
