We all carry a younger version of ourselves; one who maybe doubted themselves, didn’t feel capable, or worried about what other people thought.
For many of us, that younger self becomes a source of motivation for our running. A reminder of how far we've come and a reason to keep going on the days it feels hard.
In this episode, runners share:
- How thinking about their younger self motivates them to run now
- What their younger version would be most proud of them for today
- One lesson they would want to pass back
- What their future self might be encouraging them to focus more and less on
- A personal story at the end from a runner on why they started running and what’s kept them going
