SO, how emotionally intelligent are you?
1. Do you recognize your own emotions as you are experiencing them?
2. How do you respond when you are frustrated?
3. Do you have active listening skills?
4. How do you respond when you are anxious?
5. Are you patient to get to the right conclusion?
6. Are you able to read other people’s emotions and ignite them forward in good responses?
Emotional Intelligence.’
It means: the capability of individuals to recognize their own emotions and those of others, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, and manage and/or adjust emotions to adapt to environments or achieve one's goal(s)
As we look at an early book of the Bible called Nehemiah we find a great roadmap for leadership.
Nehemiah Chapters 4 & 6 are showing emotional intelligence leadership against an outside foe
Nehemiah Chapter 5 shows emotional intelligence leadership, when the conflict comes from within the organization.
