The book of Nehemiah gives us a lot of leadership principles throughout.
• Nehemiah shows us servant leadership in chapters 1-4 o
Servant Leadership – is different from traditional leadership because the main focus of the leader is a thriving company or organization.
• In chapters 4-6 in the book of Nehemiah we see the leadership principle of emotional intelligence as he deals with the challenges of enemies from the outside and the inside attacking.
• In chapters 7-10 we see the new commitment to understand the past, learn from the past, lament, confess, document, and then put into action new habits to make sure they do not repeat the past. o They move the anchors to create real change moving forward.
This brings us to chapter 11, as we look at this chapter the key points are around: “How to build an effective team”
