Melanie is a dancer and choreographer, currently based in Regensburg, Germany. We talk about how she is adjusting to the German lifestyle as a Canadian artist, why she believes the artist’s role in society is even MORE vital, what she discovered about the Toronto dance community after hosting a Works-in-Progress showing in February, and the sad truth that being an artist is a lonely task.
