Ghee P says that he feels a special connection to Africa and has learned some of the languages spoken there despite not ever visiting the continent.
"One Love changed the world when Bob Marley sing it, and that is the impact I want my records to have," he said. "Music is education, and so, I do my research because I take my craft very seriously. Music is about enlightenment and reaching our brothers and sisters to evoke change," he said.
