Welcome back!

Two weeks ago, a drunk driver ran a red light and nearly killed my son and me. My son is still in the hospital. My car is gone. Louisiana’s gutted tort law means there is no system waiting to catch you when you fall.

And then we go back to prison.

After being sexually assaulted in Tangipahoa Parish Jail, I requested a transfer back to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison — back to L2, the self-proclaimed “homosexual line,” the only place that ever felt remotely safe. I walk you through what that transfer looked like, what the U.S. Marshals are really like, and the moment I stepped back onto the tier and saw my tragic boyfriend again.

Season 2 picks up where we left off.

Because the truth still has teeth.
